India, April 14 -- BRS MLA P. Kaushik Reddy has demanded a CBI investigation into the alleged irregularities in the recently conducted Group I examinations under the Congress government.



Speaking to the media, Kaushik Reddy claimed that large-scale malpractice and financial transactions worth crores of rupees had taken place in the exam process. He questioned how 74 out of 1,497 candidates from a single exam centre, numbered 18 and 19 within one college, could qualify.



He further alleged that ten candidates who did not even appear for the exam were somehow selected for Group I posts. Raising more doubts, he questioned how 654 candidates could receive identical marks.
