Hyderabad, March 13 -- BRS MLA Guntakandla Jagadish Reddy has been suspended from the Telangana Legislative Assembly for making controversial remarks against Speaker G Prasad Kumar. The Speaker announced that the suspension will remain in effect until the end of the Budget Session.
The incident occurred during discussions on the motion of thanks to the Governor's address on Thursday. A heated debate broke out between BRS and Congress members over a certain issue. During this, Jagadish Reddy addressed the Speaker, saying, "This House belongs to everyone. All members should be given equal opportunity. You are our representative and are sitting as Speaker in a senior position. This House is not your personal property."
