Hyderabad, Feb. 6 -- A delegation of BRS leaders, led by K Tarakarama Rao, met Union Ministers Dharmendra Pradhan and Nitin Gadkari in Delhi to discuss key issues concerning Telangana.
The leaders submitted a representation to Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, opposing the Draft UGC Regulations 2025, which they claimed undermine the powers of state governments in appointing university vice-chancellors. KTR alleged that the Centre was attempting to control state universities through governors, violating constitutional and federal principles.
