New Delhi, March 6 -- Congress MP Mallu Ravi has alleged that the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) secretly supported the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in the recent MLC elections as part of a hidden agreement between the two parties. He stated that while Congress takes collective responsibility for victories, the same applies to defeats as well.
Ravi pointed out that BRS not only failed to win the MLC elections but also lost deposits in some places. He noted that the BJP's strength in the Telangana Legislative Council has now increased to three seats, but questioned how this would benefit the government or the people.
