India, May 2 -- BJP MP from Medak, Raghunandan Rao, alleged that a large number of new madrasas are being set up across Telangana, many of which reportedly lack official permission. He stated that he plans to write to Chief Minister Revanth Reddy seeking clarity on who is authorising these madrasas and monitoring their activities.
Speaking to the media, Raghunandan Rao expressed suspicion about a madrasa located in the Jinnaram area of Sangareddy district. He claimed that, based on his personal inquiry, 65 out of 70 students studying there are from Kishanganj district in Bihar, with teachers also hailing from the same region.
