Hyderabad, Feb. 20 -- BJP MP Dr K Laxman has expressed support for the Congress-led Telangana government's Musi River cleaning initiative.
Speaking to the media on Thursday, he clarified that the BJP does not oppose the project but urged the government to provide alternative housing arrangements for residents in the Musi catchment area before relocating them.
Laxman also predicted the establishment of a "double-engine government" in Telangana, referring to the BJP potentially governing both the state and the Centre. He claimed that the Congress government is facing significant opposition within just a year of coming to power.
