Mancherial, Feb. 19 -- Union Minister of State for Home Affairs Bandi Sanjay made a controversial statement, claiming that Hindus in Telangana are living like beggars. While campaigning for the Graduate MLC elections in Mancherial, he questioned whether Congress leaders were truly Hindus and whether they had Hindu blood in their veins.
He criticised the Congress government for allowing Muslim employees to leave offices at 4 PM during Ramadan but not extending similar privileges to Hindus who observe religious practices like Ayyappa Mala, Shiva Mala, or Bhavani Mala. He accused Congress of appeasing Muslims while neglecting Hindus.
