Hyderabad, March 7 -- Union Minister of State for Home Affairs Bandi Sanjay Kumar criticised the Telangana government for allegedly reducing the salaries of municipal outsourcing workers. He stated that despite the recent Legislative Council election results, the Congress government has not changed its approach towards workers.



He alleged that the salaries of sanitary inspectors have been reduced from Rs 22,000 to Rs 16,600 per month, while drivers and work inspectors in municipalities have faced a 25% salary cut. He accused the government of neglecting municipal outsourcing workers and going back on its pre-election promise of salary hikes for outsourcing and contract employees.
