Hyderabad, March 19 -- Union Minister of State for Home Affairs, Bandi Sanjay, criticised the Telangana state budget, calling it a mere manipulation of figures. He alleged that, like the previous budget, the allocated funds would not be fully utilised.
Commenting on the budget, Bandi Sanjay said there is no difference between the Congress and BRS governments. He accused Congress of presenting an unrealistic budget similar to BRS and following the same spending policies, where the actual expenditure is much lower than the allocations. He claimed that increasing the budget figures was just a tactic to mislead the public.
He pointed out that the budget makes no mention of the six guarantees promised by Congress before the elections. ...
