Hyderabad, June 21 -- Union Minister of State for Home Affairs, Bandi Sanjay Kumar, on Saturday questioned the Congress Government for not issuing notices to former Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao in the alleged phone tapping case. Addressing the media in Karimnagar, he asked why KCR and BRS Working President K. T. Rama Rao were not summoned based on the statements of the accused.

Alleging a secret understanding between the Congress and BRS, Sanjay asked why both parties were protecting each other. He referred to claims made by one of the accused, former DCP Radha Kishan Rao, that he tapped phones under the instructions of senior officials.
