Hyderabad, Feb. 1 -- Union Minister of State for Home Affairs Bandi Sanjay Kumar has welcomed the Union Budget 2025-26, calling it historic and pro-people, with a special focus on the welfare of the poor, middle class, farmers, and small traders.
In a statement issued on Saturday, he congratulated Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman and Prime Minister Narendra Modi for presenting what he described as a people-friendly budget. Highlighting the tax exemption on incomes up to Rs 12 lakh, he claimed that such a measure was unprecedented in independent India.
