Hyderabad, Feb. 13 -- Union Minister of State for Home Affairs Bandi Sanjay has alleged that the Telangana government's caste survey reduces the population count of Backward Classes (BCs). He accused the Congress of depriving genuine BC communities of their due reservations by including Muslims in the BC category.
"The BJP opposes religion-based reservations, yet Congress continues this flawed approach. The Congress has no genuine commitment to BC welfare," Sanjay stated. He warned that including Muslims in the BC list could cause dissatisfaction within the Hindu community and impact Congress in future elections.
