Hyderabad, Jan. 29 -- A food poisoning incident was reported at a tribal girls' hostel in Suryapet district headquarters, leaving 22 students unwell. The incident occurred on Wednesday afternoon after the students consumed lunch at the hostel.
Shortly after the meal, several students began experiencing symptoms like vomiting and diarrhoea. They were immediately taken to a nearby Urban Health Centre for initial treatment. Later, around 4 PM, officials arranged for their transfer to a private hospital for further medical care.
Authorities have confirmed that the students are currently in stable condition. Further investigations are expected to determine the cause of the contamination.
