India, March 25 -- At least 15 labourers were injured, three of them critically, when a mini goods vehicle fell into the Pedavagu canal at Betalapadu in Bhadradri Kothagudem district. The incident occurred after the vehicle's tyre burst, causing the driver to lose control and plunge off a bridge into the canal.



According to reports, around 25 to 30 labourers were on board at the time of the accident. Local police rushed to the spot upon receiving information, shifted the injured to the Government General Hospital, and retrieved the vehicle using a tractor.



Locals expressed concern over the lack of safety measures on the bridge, stating that the absence of protective railings on either side has led to frequent accidents. They urged a...
