Hyderabad, March 23 -- The Andhra Pradesh government suspended 14 teachers for allowing mass copying during the ongoing Class 10 board examinations. The incident occurred at the Kopili Model School in Srikakulam district.
According to reports, teachers and invigilators at the school allegedly permitted students to copy during the examination. The malpractice came to light after a student lodged a formal complaint.
Acting on the complaint, the Education Department deputed four committees to inspect the school. The investigation confirmed the copying, leading to the identification of 14 teachers and one non-teaching staff member involved in facilitating the act.
