India, July 12 -- A political row erupted after Andhra Pradesh BJP president P.V.N. Madhav gifted a controversial "Akhand Bharat" map to TDP leader and Andhra Pradesh Minister Nara Lokesh, in which Telangana was omitted and a unified Andhra Pradesh was depicted. The incident triggered sharp reactions on social media, with users accusing the BJP of insulting Telangana and questioning whether the exclusion was deliberate.



Following the backlash, Madhav met Telangana BJP president G. Kishan Reddy in Hyderabad and presented a corrected version of the map that included Telangana.
