India, Sept. 20 -- The Government of India issued the following news release:
On the occasion of the decade-long celebrations of Make in India, the Union Minister for Commerce and Industry, Shri Piyush Goyal, today in New Delhi released the Guidebook on Mapping of Harmonized System of Nomenclature (HSN) Codes, prepared by the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT).
The Guidebook allocates 12,167 HSN Codes across 31 Ministries and Departments, and is expected to enable targeted policymaking and support effective trade negotiations.
