India, Sept. 16 -- The Government of India issued the following news release:
Union Minister for Environment, Forest and Climate Change, Shri Bhupender Yadav, chaired a high-level review meeting today in New Delhi, to assess the ongoing measures for the prevention and control of air pollution in the Delhi-NCR region.
The meeting witnessed participation from key stakeholders including the Commission for Air Quality Management (CAQM), Government of NCT of Delhi, Haryana, Punjab, and other concerned agencies. Sardar Manjinder Singh Sirsa, Hon'ble Minister of Environment, Government of NCT of Delhi and Shri BVR Subrahmanyam, CEO NITI Ayog also participated in the meeting.
