Replying to an un-starred question today in Lok Sabha the Union Minister of State for Tribal Affairs Shri Durgadas Uikey informed that during the Adi Karmayogi Abhiyan, 62187 Gram Sabhas have been convened and have uploaded 62187 Tribal Village Vision-2030 Plans or VAPs (Village Action Plans). This resolution was formally passed to approve the Village Action Plan (VAP) prepared through participatory tools such as Transect Walks, community workshops, and household mapping. It represented a collective commitment of the community to pursue the needs and aspirations captured in the VAP.
