SHIMLA, Himachal Pradesh, April 17 -- The Department of Information and Public Relations, Himachal Pradesh issued the following press release:
A delegation of the Tibetan Government-in-Exile, led by its Prime Minister Penpa Tsering, called on Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu at the HP Secretariat here today.
The delegation apprised the Chief Minister that global celebrations to mark the 90th birthday of His Holiness the Dalai Lama will commence in July this year and will continue for one year. They extended an invitation to the Chief Minister to participate in this auspicious occasion.
The delegation also discussed various issues concerning the Tibetan community with the Chief Minister.
