The Third Regional Consultative Meeting on "Ease of Doing Research & Development (R&D)" was held on 14th - 15th July 2025 at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Jammu, Jammu & Kashmir. Organized by NITI Aayog, this two-day meeting is part of an ongoing national initiative aimed at building a more enabling, responsive, and future-ready R&D ecosystem in India. The meeting brought together leading voices from academia, research institutions, science departments, and policymaking to deliberate on persistent bottlenecks in the research landscape and propose systemic reforms.
