The Development and promotion of tourism is primarily the responsibility of the State Governments/Union Territory Administrations, Ministry of Tourism complements States/UTs through the following efforts: -
(i) Development and promotion of tourism destinations and products is primarily undertaken by the concerned State Government (SG)/Union Territory Administration (UTA).
