PATNA, India, April 22 -- Patna High Court issued the following order on April 7:
1 . Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the State . The bail petition of petitioner No. 1 has already been withdrawn vide order dated 05.02.2025 .
2. Petitioners apprehend arrest in a case registered for the offence punishable under sections 302 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code .
3 . As per the prosecution case , informant namely , Lakhan Mahto alleged that his daughter, Pramila devi was married to co-accused Dinesh Prasad in the year 1999 as per Hindu rites and after marriage all the accused persons including these petitioners used to torture and assault the deceased for dowry .
