PATNA HIGH COURT ISSUES ORDER ON RAJESH KUMAR V/S THE STATE OF BIHAR

PATNA, India, Feb. 25 -- Patna High Court issued the following order on Feb. 4:

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel for the State.

2. The petitioner apprehends his arrest in a case registered under Sections 363, 366 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. As per FIR, this petitioner along with other accused persons kidnapped the daughter of informant for the purpose of marriage.

4. The victim in her statement recorded under Section 164 Cr.P.C. has categorically stated that this petitioner along with other accused persons kidnapped her. 5. Having considered the nature of accusation and the statement of victim recorded under Section 164 Cr.P.C., prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected.
