PATNA, India, March 4 -- Patna High Court issued the following order on Feb. 4:
Heard learned counsel appearing on behalf of the parties.
2. It is pointed out by learned counsel that the present occurrence alleged to be taken place on 27.07.2018 and the seized firearm (rifle) was produced before the court on 25.08.2018 for sending FSL, which was sent on 29.08.2018. It is submitted that the report of FSL was received on 20.11.2018 wherein it is categorically mentioned that upon chemical examination, it was not used for alleged firing. It is submitted that the entire prosecution was lodged by police on instance of local politician, who is in differential terms with petitioners.
