PATNA, India, Feb. 27 -- Patna High Court issued the following order on Feb. 4:
Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the State .
2. Petitioner apprehends arrest in a case registered for the offence punishable under sections 376, 504, 506 and 34 of IPC and Section 4, 6 of POCSO Act.
3 . As per the prosecution case , this petitioner is alleged to have committed rape upon the victim. The victim in her statement recorded u/s 183 of BNSS and categorically stated that this petitioner forcefully committed rape upon her.
4. Considering the statement of the victim recorded under Section 183 of BNSS and gravity of offence , prayer for pre-arrest bail of the petitioner is rejected.
