PATNA, India, April 22 -- Patna High Court issued the following order on April 7:
Heard Mr. Pramod Mishra, learned counsel for the appellant and Mr. Sujit Kumar Singh, learned A.P.P. for the Respondent-State.
2. The present successive application has been filed by the applicant for grant of bail and for suspension of sentence. However, learned counsel for the applicant, at the outset, submitted that the applicant is in custody since last more than seven and half years and, the appeal is pending since the year 2020, the appeal be fixed for hearing.
3. In view of the aforesaid submission, Office is directed to prepare the paper-book and thereafter list this appeal under the caption 'For Hearing' in the week commencing from 1 st December, 2...
