PATNA, India, March 17 -- Patna High Court issued the following order on March 4:
The learned counsel for the appellant submits that the appellant, namely, Arun Tanti has died while serving sentence in connection with Sessions Trial No. 614 of 2011 (arising out of Kharagpur P.S. Case No. 83 of 2011), at the Divisional Jail, Munger, hence a report be called for from the Jail Superintendent/ Assistant Jail Superintendent, Divisional Jail, Munger.
2. Accordingly, call for a report from the Jail Superintendent/ Assistant Jail Superintendent, Divisional Jail, Munger, as also from the Superintendent of Police, Munger, as to whether the appellant has died or not and in case, he has died, the date of death be also furnished.
