PATNA, India, Feb. 27 -- Patna High Court issued the following order on Feb. 4:
Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the State .
2. Petitioner apprehends arrest in a case registered for the offence punishable under Section 30 (a) & 37 (c) of Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act 2022 (Amended ).
3 . It is alleged that 40 liters of country made liquor was recovered behind the house of this petitioner.
4. It is submitted that the petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in this case only on the basis of suspicion . No incriminating material has been recovered from the conscious possession of the petitioner and he is no way connected with the aforesaid recovery. Petitioner claims clean antecedent.
