PATNA, India, April 2 -- Patna High Court issued the following judgment on March 25:
The State has challenged the judgment dated 16.05.2024 passed by a learned Single Judge in CWJC No. 13895 of 2021 allowing the prayer made therein for a direction to the respondents to confirm and regularise their services with effect from 12th of October, 2018.
2. The writ petitioners/respondents are the contractual Drivers/Constables who were appointed by the Home (Police) Department in the year 2011. The appointment was made against the sanctioned vacant posts in the Bihar Police.
