PATNA HIGH COURT ISSUES JUDGEMENT ON SHYAM SUNDAR PANDEY V/S THE STATE OF BIHAR AND OTHER

PATNA, India, July 18 -- Patna High Court issued the following judgment on July 10:

1.The writ petition is filed to quash the Memo No. 402 and order dated 18.02.2016 passed by the Sub-Divisional Officer-cum-Licensing Authority, Biraul, Darbhanga whereunder the petitioner's PDS License No. 20 of 2001 was cancelled.

2.Being aggrieved by the said order, the petitioner preferred an appeal i.e. Appeal No. 45 of 2016, before the District Magistrate, Darbhanga. The appellate authority confirmed the order of cancellation of the PDS license and dismissed the appeal on 19.07.2017.
