PATNA HIGH COURT ISSUES JUDGEMENT ON SHASHI BHUSHAN SINGH V/S THE STATE OF BIHAR AND OTHERS

PATNA, India, May 8 -- Patna High Court issued the following judgment on May 5:

We have heard Mr. Ram Vinay Prasad Singh, the learned Advocate for the petitioner and Mr. Anjani Kumar, the learned AAG- 4 for the State.

2. The challenge in this petition is to the order of blacklisting dated 08.09.2015 for an indefinite period.

3. We do not understand the reason for the petitioner to have approached this Court after such a long delay. Nonetheless, the order of blacklisting operates against the petitioner even today.

4. In that view of the matter, we consider it desirable to permit the petitioner to approach the Chief Engineer/Competent Authority within a period of two weeks and seek a modification of the order, making such order of blackli...
