PATNA HIGH COURT ISSUES JUDGEMENT ON REJESH KUMAR CHANDRA AND OTHERSV/S THE STATE OF BIHAR AND OTHERS

PATNA, India, May 8 -- Patna High Court issued the following judgment on May 5:

Heard Mr. Y.V. Giri, learned senior counsel assisted by Mr. Pranav Kumar, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioners and Mr. Sheo Shankar Prasad, learned SC- 8 appearing on behalf of the State.

2. The petitioners, 79 in numbers, have approached this Court challenging the order dated 18.03.2019, issued by the Director General of Police, Military Police, Bihar, Patna whereby, the petitioners' claim for absorption as Literate Constable (Operator) in the Bihar Police Radio Organization, have been rejected.

3. The impugned order dated 18.03.2019 has been passed pursuant to a direction of this Court, dated 07.01.2019 passed in CWJC No. 9565 of 2017.
