PATNA, India, Feb. 20 -- Patna High Court issued the following judgment on Feb. 11:
Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and learned APP appearing on behalf of the State duly assisted by learned counsel appearing for opposite party no.2.
2. Both applications has been filed by the petitioners for quashing the order taking cognizance dated 23.07.2019 passed by learned S.D.J.M., Vaishali at Hajipur in connection with Complaint Case No. C1 3117 of 2018 corresponding to Tr. No.2776 of 2019, whereby the learned Jurisdictional Magistrate took cognizance under Sections 498-A/ 34 and 323 of the Indian Penal Code (in short 'IPC') as well as Sections 3 and 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act against the petitioners and others.
