PATNA, India, Nov. 21 -- Patna High Court issued the following judgment on Oct. 30:

Heard learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioners, learned APP for the State and learned counsel for the opposite party no.2.

2. The present application has been filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. for quashing of the FIR in connection with Raxaul P.S. Case No. 211 of 2024 registered for offences punishable under Sections 341, 323, 313, 504, 506, 34 and 498A of the Indian Penal Code.

3. The allegation is of subjecting the informant - opposite party no.2 to various sorts of torture due to nonfulfillment of the demand of the dowry.
