PATNA HIGH COURT ISSUES JUDGEMENT ON BHIM SHANKAR RAI V/S THE STATE OF BIHAR

PATNA, India, April 17 -- Patna High Court issued the following judgment on April 15:

Heard Mr. Abhinav Shrivastava, learned Senior Advocate for the petitioner and Mr. Sudhanshu Bhushan, learned Advocate for the State.

2. The challenge in the present writ petition is made to a notification, as contained in Memo No. 903 dated 07.05.2019, issued under the signature of Additional Secretary, Department of Water Resources, Government of Bihar, whereby the petitioner has been inflicted with the punishment of stoppage of permanent pension in a departmental proceeding.
