As approved by the Cabinet vide its Cabinet Decision No. 3200 dated 10.05.2025, Department of Environment, Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi, in collaboration with the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kanpur, is undertaking a pilot project titled "Technology Demonstration and Evaluation of Cloud Seeding as an Alternative for Delhi NCR Pollution Mitigation." The Department of Environment, GNCTD, so far has paid an amount of Rs. 37,93,420 as the first installment to the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur.
