( a ) : The National Marine Fisheries Census 2025 [ Marine Fisheries Census ( MFC - 2025 ) ] is more comprehensive than past censuses and the methodology of census has changed to digital . In addition to households , fishing craft and gear , the fisheries census now systematically covers aquaculture units , landing centres , boat - building yards , ice plants , freezing and processing facilities , curing and peeling sheds , and wholesale markets . The electronic schedules prepared for the census also include self - help groups , fish farmer producer organizations ( FFPOs ) , cooperatives , and other institutional structures in fishing villages .R...
