India, Nov. 27 -- The Government of India has issued a release:
Ranked third globally, India has emerged as a powerhouse for over 100 unicorns, fuelled by a strong culture of technology and innovation spreading from metros to tier-2 and tier-3 cities. Building on this momentum, the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs (MoHUA), in partnership with the Startup Incubation and Innovation Centre (SIIC), IIT Kanpur, launched the second cohort of startups in the sanitation and waste-management sector at the Swachhata Startup Conclave on 24th November 2025 in New Delhi. The Minister of State, MoHUA, Shri Tokhan Sahu launched the 2nd Cohort of the Startups for Swachhata.
