MADHYA PRADESH HIGH COURT ISSUES ORDERS ON A.K. SINGH V/S CHIEF ELECTION COMMISSIONER AND OTHERS

JABALPUR, India, June 8 -- Madhya Pradesh High Court issued the following judgment/order on May 8:

1. The instant petition has been filed seeking the following reliefs:-

"1) To issue a writ of certiorari to set-aside the order impugned date 28.03.2025 passed by the respondent no.2.

2) To issue a writ of mandamus directing the respondent no.1 to take action over the complaint filed by the petitioner dated 19.03.2025 and pass a appropriate order taking action against the private respondent no.5 in a timebound manner.

3) To issue a writ of mandamus to direct the respondent authorities to scrutinize the election process of the respondent no. 5.

4) Any other suitable relief dcemed fit in the facts and circumstances of the case may also ...
