JABALPUR, India, July 28 -- Madhya Pradesh High Court issued the following judgment/order on June 30:

Learned counsel for respondent submits that bills of the petitioner are disputed. The dispute emanates out of a works contract.

Accordingly, the writ petition before this Court would not be maintainable. Petitioner would have to approach the arbitral Tribunal under the provisions of the Madhya Pradesh Madhyastham Adhikaran Adhiniyam, 1983.

In view thereof, the petition is dismissed reserving the right of the petitioner to invoke arbitration in terms of the Madhya Pradesh Madhyastham Adhikaran Adhiniyam, 1983.
