RANCHI, India, Aug. 6 -- Jharkhand High Court issued the following order on July 9:
1. The petitioners are before this Court for direction to the respondents to pay adequate compensation from the date of dispossession of the petitioners from their Raiyati land under Khata Nos. 07, 10 and 17, Plot Nos. 4/582, 19 and 05, total area 93 decimals which has been taken over by the respondents for widening of road.
2. It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioners that there had been widening of road from Bariyardih to Markacho in the District of Koderma by the Rural Engineering Works Department, Government of Jharkhand and later on, the said work was taken over by Public Works Department, Jharkhand.
