RANCHI, India, June 4 -- Jharkhand High Court issued the following order on May 5:

1) This Public Interest Litigation has been filed for the following reliefs:-

a. To mandate a spiritual or religious education in all schools, both public and private; and

b. To encourage and provide facilities for spiritual or religious education and research in higher education institutions.

2) The aspects on which the petitioner has sought directions are matters of policy for the State and Central Government to decide and are not within the purview of this Court to advice. Therefore, this Public Interest Litigation is dismissed. 3) Interlocutory application, if any, stands disposed of.
