JHARKHAND HIGH COURT ISSUES ORDER ON SUSHANK MISHRA V/S THE STATE OF JHARKHAND

RANCHI, India, May 24 -- Jharkhand High Court issued the following order on April 24:

1. Heard the parties.

2. This anticipatory bail application under Section 482 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS), 2023, has been preferred by the petitioner apprehending his arrest for offence under Section 306 IPC.

3. Learned A.P.P. representing the State opposes the prayer for anticipatory bail.

4. The allegation in the F.I.R. is that the sister of the informant after dinner had gone for a walk but did not return. The missing report was communicated to the Police Station.
