RANCHI, India, May 2 -- Jharkhand High Court issued the following order on April 2:
1. The present writ petition has been filed for issuance of direction upon the concerned respondent to pay and release compensation of Rs.2,47,484.16/- to the petitioner as awarded against his land appertaining to J.B. No.25, Plot No.824, measuring an area of 0.06 decimal, MouzaPaharpur, which was acquired for widening of "Harinchara to Barhet Shivgadi Road".
2. Having heard learned counsel for the parties and considering the nature of the prayer made in the writ petition, this Court is of the view that the petitioner has efficacious remedy under Section 64/ Section 76 of the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation ...
