Apprehending his arrest in connection with Bishunpur P.S. Case No.21 of 2024 instituted under Sections 317(2)/ 3(5) of the B.N.S., 2023, Section 11(1)(d)(F) of Animal Cruelty Act, 1960 and Section 12(1)/13(1) of the Jharkhand Bovine Animal Prevention of Slaughter Act, the petitioner has moved this Court for grant of privileges of anticipatory bail.

Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the allegation against the petitioner is that the petitioner was the driver of the pick-up van which was seized by police while being involved in illegal transportation of bovine animals for their further slaughtering. It is subm...
