RANCHI, India, May 7 -- Jharkhand High Court issued the following order on April 7:

Heard Mr. J.N. Upadhyay, learned counsel for the appellant and Mr. Shashi Kumar Verma, learned A.P.P. for the State.

The prayer for bail of the appellant was earlier rejected in I.A. No. 1952 of 2024.

Renewing the prayer for bail of the appellant, submission has been advanced that the appellant has completed four years and one month in custody.

Learned A.P.P. has opposed the prayer for bail of the appellant.

It appears that appellant had shot at the victim which has been corroborated by the injury report.

Regard being had to the above, we are not inclined to reconsider the prayer for bail of the appellant which stands once again rejected at this stage....
