Apprehending his arrest, the petitioner has moved this Court for grant of privileges of anticipatory bail in connection with N.D.P.S. Case No.06 of 2024 arising out of Gumla P.S. Case No.411 of 2023 registered under Section 27(b)(ii) of Drugs and Cosmetic Act, 1940 and Section 21(c)/29 of NDPS Act.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the allegation against the petitioner is that the petitioner was involved in transportation and selling of narcotics drugs and 54 bottles of Cough Syrup of 100ml each containing codeine was recovered by the police while kept hidden in the water tank by the co-accused person.
