Apprehending his arrest in connection with Torpa P.S. Case No.67 of 2024 instituted for the offences punishable under Sections 171/174/175/353 of the B.N.S., 2023 and Section 125/126 of the Representation of People Act, 1951, the petitioner has moved this Court for grant of privileges of anticipatory bail.

Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the allegation against the petitioner is that the petitioner has made a video viral on his social-media account with the content, that the Torpa church has decided to support the wife of former MLA and by such posting of false information, tried to distract the voters.
