RANCHI, India, May 7 -- Jharkhand High Court issued the following order on April 7:
1. Heard Mr. R.S. Mazumdar, learned Senior Counsel for the appellant and Mr. Abhay Kumar Tiwari, learned A.P.P. for the State.
2. The prayer of bail of the appellant was earlier dismissed as withdrawn in I.A. No. 671 of 2024.
3. Submission has been advanced by the learned Senior Counsel for the appellant that the appellant is in custody since 18.04.2018 and has completed a substantial part of the sentence imposed upon him of 10 years rigorous imprisonment for the offence under Sections 304-B/34 of the Indian Penal Code.
4. Learned A.P.P. has opposed the prayer of bail of the appellant but has not disputed the aforesaid fact.
